The Journey is a series of workshops designed to highlight key spiritual disciplines that are important to every believer.
Each Journey class is held three times a year on Sunday afternoon. The next class will be “Get In” held on January 15, 2012. Childcare is available by registration.
Get In
In this first workshop on the Journey to Real Life we’ll talk about points of entry in the family of God at River City. As we make disciples who love God, we’ll talk about salvation and baptism.
In seeking to love others, we’ll discuss the vital nature of small groups in the mission and vision of River City. Finally, we’ll discuss the mission of River City where each believer actively and prayerfully serves a lost world.
2012 “Get In” classes will be available: January 15th, May 6th, September 23rd, and November 4th.
Go Deep
The Real Life Jesus promised us isn’t found at the surface. We were created to Go Deep into Him! This second workshop will equip you with the tools you need to explore the depths of His plan for you.
We will specifically discuss some habits that will help you develop a love for God and a love for others, and get you in the right place to serve the world in a healthy and productive way.
2012 “Go Deep” classes will be available: February 12th, May 20th, September 30th, and November 11th.
Go Out
The Journey of faith rolls on as long as we are here. This third, highly interactive workshop will help you figure out where and how you can best serve your world.
You were created to leave a unique mark on this world. The Go Out workshop will give you a great idea about which way to head on your continuing journey of faith.
2012 “Go Out” classes will be available: February 26th, June 3rd, September 9th, and November 18th.
