Worship is how we respond to God. It is the natural response of the human heart to His unconditional love and acceptance. We are created, first and foremost, to have a relationship with God—to worship Him. The focus of the Worship and Creative Media ministry at River City Community Church is not music, drama, or any other creative art form, but is rather the sincere exaltation of the Lord.

Our teams exist to facilitate the creative expression of worship to the Lord. If you are called and gifted in these areas, our desire is to help you develop and use your gifts to serve our Creator.

In our celebration services, we use music to create a backdrop for sincere, heartfelt worship. As we lift our hearts and voices together in praise, the atmosphere is charged with joy and expectancy. God makes His presence known among us, and we respond to Him with genuine adoration.

We believe worship should be accessible to everyone. Through contemporary worship songs, original songs, and fresh versions of traditional hymns, we introduce unbelievers to God and encourage those who already know Him to go a little deeper.

In addition to music, we incorporate many creative and technical art forms in our services as a means to reach people in a culturally-relevant way. Drama, video, and visual art are just a few of the creative forms we use to enhance the message and move people toward God.
