Why Life Groups?
At RCCC, we believe that, by yourself, you can't become all that God intends. We need each other! Therefore we are committed to being together in community. Life Groups are our primary means to provide discipleship and pastoral care.
What is a Life Group?
A Life Group is not just another meeting, and it's not just a Bible study. Rather, it's a group of people regularly meeting in homes. The relationships we build there enable us to be more than just hearers of the Word but those who obey it as well. In a Life Group no one stands alone!
What can I expect in a Life Group?
Our Life Groups meet in homes at various times in the week. After attending one of our weekend services your group will discuss how to apply the speaker's message in your lives. Groups also have time for prayer, fellowship, and outside relational events. Childcare needs are addressed group-by-group.
How do I find the group for me?
There are several ways to find a group:
- Check the “Requesting Life Group Information” box on the “Response Card” in your weekend service bulletin, put it in the offering box, and someone will contact you.
- Request a “Life Group Card” at our Information Center in the foyer. Fill it out, turn it in, and we will contact you about groups in your area.
- You can call our office and ask for the staff pastor overseeing Life Groups.
The easiest way for you to get connected at River City is to visit the Connections Cafe after a service. The Connections Cafe is located through the doors to the right of the stage in the sanctuary. One of the red-clad Connection Partners will be glad to help you find the group that is right for you!
Call the church office (490-5262) for more assistance and we will be glad to help.
