The first thing people notice is our campus. The Facilities Ministry Team assists in the planning, development, and maintenance of our buildings and grounds.
This ministry needs people who can:
- Organize the projects needed to maintain the campus.
- Identify projects that can be handled by volunteers.
- Recruit volunteers to work on projects.
- Follow up with our staff about projects not handled by the team.
Who can be on the Facilities Team?
We welcome anyone who wants to help keep our campus looking beautiful. You do not have to be an expert craftsman to serve on this team. Many of the projects can be done by anyone willing to put in some effort. Other projects can provide an opportunity to learn new skills by working with someone knowledgeable in a specific area. Some tasks in this area are administrative and only require a willingness to make phone calls and follow-up with vendors.
What level of commitment is required?
The commitment in this area varies by project. Much of the work done in this area is accomplished on bi-monthly or quarterly project days or as needed.
